Course Description: In this two-and-a-half-hour workshop, your child will build a bowl or small platter by hand. They will learn to roll slabs and use drape molds to form vessels. The children will use underglazes to add surface color to their pieces and carving tools to add patterns. These bowls and platters will be finished with a clear glaze, making a great Mother’s Day gift. The final pieces will be food-safe and can be used as serving dishes or decorative pieces, such as a jewelry dish for a bedside table or dresser.
