White and gray-glazed wheel-thrown dark brown stoneware vase 🌿 5” x 8.5”
When selecting glazes for this vase, I was curious how these beautifully rich, stable glazes would differ atop this rich brown stoneware than when applied to the white stoneware I’ve thrown for decades. I’m delighted with the outcome! The dark brown claybody peeks from below the glaze, creating color depth I’ve rarely seen with this opaque white. Ambient light plays off the seafoam texture in a subtle, beautiful way.
This stoneware vase is dishwasher-safe.
